Why Some Research Papers Are Better Than Others

Why Some Research Papers Are Better Than OthersThere are many theories on why some research papers are better than others. Is it the amount of information? Are the titles long and uninteresting? Is the paper dealing with trivia such as baseball or geography? Or is it that the researcher does not write up a lot of their own research. If so, then we could call this academic censorship. One theory for why some research papers are better than others comes from a study by Dr. Margaret Holman of Temple University. She did a survey of grad students and found that those who were asked to read a research paper that was completely by them wrote up longer paragraphs. While the others wrote longer but less interesting passages. It seems that if you find yourself in the role of writer and don't write your own research, then you might want to try writing a boring research paper. Because it is more likely that you will get done quicker. By the way, this does not mean that if you are writing a research paper that is simply written by you, you will get faster. Some studies have found that censorship of research can lead to good and bad papers. But one thing that was found was that there was a positive correlation between how much censorship there was in the published and the student's grade. So this can be good for those who don't write up their own research. The censorship could also mean that your writing style is so interesting that it attracts the attention of those reading your paper. Thus the reader will pay more attention to your paper. As long as your papers are written by you, that is, with a lot of original thought, then censorship will not have a negative effect on you. You just have to make sure that you don't forget that you are writing up your own research. There is a general belief that all the scientists and their scientific research papers are kept under lock and key because it is against the law. But this can easily be changed. Perhaps a more apt subject for debate is 'who is right about what?' No one can be absolutely certain about every paper that gets published.Censorship of research paper topics can actually be beneficial. Those who aren't able to write up their own research will be more able to focus on their own research while those who do get involved in it will be more motivated to write up their own research papers.
